This easy ground beef and broccoli recipe is a quick and easy high-protein dinner idea that you can make in around 15-20 minutes with simple ingredients! Enjoy the ground beef stir-fry with some vegetables for a tasty healthy low-carb meal. Or turn into bowls, served with some rice.

What’s in This Easy Ground Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry
Speaking of ingredients, here’s what you’ll need:
- lean ground beef – you can also go for turkey or chicken or even pork
- broccoli – you can also use cauliflower if desired, since they have similar texture
- garlic, ginger, scallions and tamari sauce – we need all of these to add a beautiful, irresistible flavor!

How To Make Ground Beef and Broccoli
In a large pan cook the ground beef for a 3-4 minutes at medium / medium-high until almost done (if needed cover the pan with a lid).
(If you want to make bowls, while that’s cooking, you can also cook some rice or quinoa too.)
Add olive oil, ginger, the red chili pepper, and 2 garlic cloves to the ground beef then sauté until fragrant.
Stir in the broccoli and carrots and let cook for 2-3 minutes.
Then add the tamari sauce. Have a taste and adjust for salt if needed (you can add some more tamari sauce), cook while stirring for a few more minutes.

Stir in the spinach, spring onions, the rest of the garlic, the cilantro. Then turn the heat off.
Serve immediately!
I served mine in bowls with cooked rice, some lettuce, avocado, cucumbers and radishes. To add something extra, I usually prepare a “dressing” using 1 tbsp tamari sauce, 1 tsp wasabi and 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil – mix that and drizzle some over the bowls.

Enjoy immediately!
Meal Prep
I know this ground beef recipe only takes 15-20 minutes, but if that sounds overwhelming on weeknights, you can meal prep it. All you need to do is cook the ground beef as described (make more of it) and if you’re making bowls – cook some rice additionally. Store in airtight containers for up to 3 days and reheat in the microwave or on the stove.

Assemble with the raw vegetables right when it’s time to eat. If you wish, you can meal prep them too – just peel and cut the cucumber, wash and cut the radishes and the lettuce. Leave the avocado for later.
