Try some of these 5-minute morning stretch routines this week! Doing the morning stretches every day will help you walk with a better posture and feel more relaxed.
Do you do a big morning stretch to wake up every day or are you a normal person?
If Frozen gave us anything besides that song that’s still stuck in my head, it’s the realistic way Anna woke up. No sunshine peaking through the curtains gently, birds chirping, hair nice and styled. We got some of our self-confidence back when we saw that even a princess can have a hard time waking up.
But in all seriousness, you need to stretch in the morning. You may have slept weirdly, maybe you’ve been sitting all day the day before or you’re just having some aches and pains…in the morning after you wake up it’s time to warm up your body and prepare it for all the movements that are ahead of you.
You can prevent some serious injuries if you get into the habit of doing some light exercises at the beginning of your day. I know this may be the last thing you need after your alarm goes off, especially if you haven’t slept enough and are a bit grumpy.
Stretching in the morning doesn’t have to take a long time though! With the right stretches you can feel like a brand new person in no time. To prove this, I’ve done half of the work for you and found some of the most effective 5-minute morning stretch routines online.
Now the other half – the stretching itself – is left to you.
